In this ever changing landscape Covid-19, we recognise the health of our staff, tenants, clients, contractors and the wider community is paramount. We at Gateway Housing have undergone the necessary planning to operate smoothly and safely in these uncertain times.

Property maintenance and repairs are still occurring with all contractors using appropriate personal protective equipment and following Queensland Health guidelines to reduce the transfer of the virus. All housing inspections have resumed. Visits to tenant homes and the Gateway office are arranged by appointment. Face-to-face meetings strictly follow the 1.5 metre distancing requirement.

After 38 years, we’ve taken the initiative and built some brand elements expressing our benefit to tenants. Our new logo represents the holistic approach we take in working with tenants while providing a temporary home. The prongs extending from the house shape represent:

sun rays – A Gateway to a Brighter Future
The many elements that we can work with families to promote them sustaining their future housing. Examples of aspects individuals and families work on whilst in a tenancy could include relationship counselling, financial literacy, life skills, education and training.
